The Junior League of Columbia focuses on assisting families in the Midlands through a wide variety of programs and experiences throughout the community.


Done in a Day

Early Academic Development

Early Academic Development collaborates with Midlands agencies to promote early education and development. The overall mission is to establish a sense of community and support for children and their families to increase early learning and intervention. 

Community Partners include Communities In Schools (CIS) and Healthy Learners. 


Healthy Relationships for Children

Healthy Relationships For Children (HRC) focuses on long-term impact with community partners, empowering children to lead mentally and physically healthy lives through community support, interpersonal skill development and positive role models. 

Community partners include Midlands Fatherhood Coalition and Palmetto Place Children’s Shelter. 


Healthy Relationships for Women

The Healthy Relationships for Women (HRW) committee focuses on collaboration with community partners to create long-term positive impact, empowering women to lead mentally and physically healthy lives. HRW offers community support, interpersonal violence prevention and education, and domestic violence awareness. 

Community Partners include The Hive Community Circle, Sistercare, and South Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault (SCCADVASA) 


Volunteer Management

The Volunteer Management committee focuses on organizing volunteer shifts with local non-profit organizations that have planned an event in need of womanpower to complete.
